Jio has taken over the market, it has taken
over the internet. Everyone is talking about Reliance Jio. People are waiting
in long queues to get a Jio sim. Reliance is offering the cheapest mobile data
network and the mobile tariffs for the smartphone users in the world. The
landscape of the telecom industry has changed.
Reliance Jio has already started testing
its FTTH network in some parts of Pune and Mumbai.
But
that’s not all, Reliance company will be bringing a fibre to the home
(FTTH) wired network service called Reliance Jio GigaFiber to
selected 900 cities and towns in India. Reliance Jio FTTH network will offer
internet network speeds of up to 1 Gbps to its subscribers.
The
arrival of Jio has started a fierce battle among Indian telecoms firms to win
customers. The other telecom companies couldn’t simply sit and wait for Jio to
take over them. To stay in the race, BSNL has announced many interesting
broadband plans and one such plan is the BSNL
BBG Combo Plan priced at Rs 1,199
per month. The other plan is BB 249 plan that will include 2 GB of data at
2 Mbps and unlimited data at 1 Mbps after crossing the limit.
